Yellow Notices

A Yellow Notice is issued for missing people who have been kidnapped or have disappeared without explanation, but sometimes Yellow Notices are improperly issued.

Improperly Listed Yellow Notices

Ms. Estlund has successfully represented parents whose children are improperly listed in Yellow Notices. In cases where one parent has misled authorities about the custodial status of their children, Yellow Notices may be invalidly issued. Michelle has been able to show INTERPOL the true nature of the children’s custody status and to have the Yellow Notices removed.

There are many different types of INTERPOL notices, and Michelle has experience handling them all.

Issues that may arise in INTERPOL cases

  • A Red Notice creates difficulty with traveling & banking.
  • A Green Notice may prevent an individual from entering countries.
  • Yellow Notices are sometimes improperly issued.
  • Blue Notices can results in unwanted surveillance and tracking of the subject.

Red Notices

Issued by a country when a person is wanted for prosecution or to serve a sentence, and the person is believed to have left the country.

Green Notices

Used when one country wishes to notify INTERPOL that an individual may be likely to commit a specific type of crimes in other countries.

Blue Notices

Issued when a person is believed to have information about a crime or a criminal suspect that allows the person to be more easily tracked and potentially contacted.
