There are many different types of INTERPOL notices, and Ms. Estlund has experience handling them all.

Issues that may arise in INTERPOL cases

  • A Red Notice creates difficulty with traveling & banking.
  • A Green Notice may prevent an individual from entering countries.
  • Yellow Notices are sometimes improperly issued.
  • Blue Notices can results in unwanted surveillance and tracking of the subject.

Red Notices

Issued by a country when a person is wanted for prosecution or to serve a sentence, and the person is believed to have left the country.

Green Notices

Used when one country wishes to notify INTERPOL that an individual may be likely to commit a specific type of crimes in other countries.

Yellow Notices

Issued for missing people who have been kidnapped or have disappeared without explanation.

Blue Notices

Issued when a person is believed to have information about a crime or a criminal suspect that allows the person to be more easily tracked and potentially contacted.

Diffusions

Similar to Red Notices, but they can be issued from one country to another, or to a few countries, rather than to the entire INTERPOL data network (like a Red Notice).

Preemptive Requests
